This simple service can save you money and heartache in the spring when you are ready to take the boat out for the first time! The winters around the south may not seem very cold, but they do get cold enough to freeze and crack the block of your engine inboard or stern-drive boat. Protect your boat and put it up for the winter the right way!
B&L Marine provides winterization, de-winterization, and long-term indoor storage. We can even do any required service work, audio and lighting upgrades, interior fixes, or even re-power your boat. We want you to be ready to enjoy Louisiana's Sportsman's Paradise without any added headaches!

Quickdrain Same Day Service:
Just bring your boat by before 10:00 AM and let the ticket writer know that you want to pick it up that day. We will have you ready to pick up on your way home. This is only for winterizations ONLY. If any other items are added to the ticket, it goes to the normal line.

De-Winterization
Start preparing for a great summer of boating with our de-winterization. Our service professionals will check over the entire boat to make sure you are ready for the water. If we find anything that needs to be repaired, we will give you a call and let you know so you can decide to fix it or leave it.
This service can be done on the same day you drop your boat off. Just bring your boat by before 10:00 AM and let the ticket writer know that you want to pick it up that day. ***If we do find something that needs to be repaired and you request to fix it, the boat will go into the normal service line.
Our De-Winterization package includes:
- Reinstall drain plugs
- Check battery
- Check fluid levels
- Start and check motor
- Report any needed maintenance or repairs to customer.
- $120.00 + price of parts if necessary
Long-Term Indoor Storage
Need a safe place to keep your boat stored for the winter or going to be out of town for several months? Bring it to us and we will keep it for you! B&L Marine has a large indoor warehouse (unheated) to fit quite a few boats. It's a great time to go ahead and get that service work and upgrades
B&L Marine offers storage solutions for boats of all sizes. We will collapse it down to as short as possible, measure how long it is, and charge by the foot per month ($10/foot/month, minimum of 3 months).
Frequently Asked Questions
Boat Length: $10.00 per foot per month of The most-collapsed length of the boat (folding trailer tongue, folding swim platform, and including outboard). For example, an 18-foot fishing boat will have 3 feet of clearance for the outboard. Cost would be $210/month
Storage Terms: Minimum Storage Length is 3-Months. After your boat is in storage, it will not be accessible or removable until the end of your lease. The building is only accessible to employees. This is NOT the type of storage that you put your boat at when you are using it.
Security: The storage facility is only accessible by B&L Marine employees. There is generally someone on site for security.
Boat Pick-Up: Please give us 48 hours notice to get your boat moved to the front for pick up.
